Introduction

CryspIQ is a single end to end Data Fabric solution which enables AI for your organisation. A Data Fabric solution is defined as an architecture and set of best practices for unifying and governing multiple data management disciplines. These include:

CryspIQ is provided to you as a Software as a Service ('SAAS') product that encompasses all Data Fabric architecture, practises and governance disciplines. The fundamental concepts of the CryspiQ solution are derived from the key concepts contained within the DAMA framework.

    CryspIQ was built to improve your Data preparation processes, provide tangible business value and to simplify usage of Data for your entire business. Your business is empowered to open their minds to all the opportunities that your Enterprise Data presents without being constrained by what’s been provided by technical intepretation. Any user can self serve and ask those analytical questions using natural language. It provides the standardised platform with in-built quality control for your AI journey.

    2. Map your Data (Set up the maps)
    3. Use your Data (understand the universal context)

    Apply the method​

    The method used by CryspIQ is different to the traditional methods of Data Warehousing.
    If you dig deeper, you will notice the Star Schema concepts from Ralph Kimball and the Common Information Model(CIF) concepts from Bill Inmon. We have taken the best parts from each of these two world re-known methodologies and have combined them to form a new methodology. Once the concepts are solidified into your approach to data, your end-to-end data processes become standardised and much easier to understand. The Method and Enterprise Data Model are technology agnostic and can be used on any Cloud Technology Stack (AWS, Google or Azure). We have built CryspIQ on Microsoft Azure to encapsulate the methodology and universal context to deliver great value to your Enterprise.

    Map your data​

    Use the User Interface to create and manage your mappings of source data to the universal context. Add metadata to your data which helps the Large Language Model (LLM) and your fellow colleagues to search, find and use it. Use business terms and labels to enable consistency of meaning and understanding across your Enterprise. This creates the Business Glossary for all the Data across your Enterprise.

    Use your Data​

    Understand the universal context to establish where your data is stored for use. You Do NOT need to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the underlying data source system to find and use your Data. CryspIQ organises all your business data in a single database schema, so that all data of similiar business type is clustered or stored together making it easy to find, once the model is understood. What this means is that if you are looking for money items, such as budget amounts, invoice amounts, payment amounts, you will find them all stored in a single place. There are couple of ways to use your Data, depending on your preference:

    • Query Builder - Search for the items you need (from the Business Glossary), select them and build your query.
    • Natural Language Query - Ask the questions of your Data using natural language
